The Committee

The Committee meets regularly to plan and organise trips and social events and ensure the smooth running of the club. If you have any comments and suggestions or there is something you would like to organise, please speak to one of us on a Thursday evening. Alternatively please contact us via the website.

	Malcolm Palmer Club Chairperson The club chairperson is important in ensuring that all meetings are chaired and conducted in the correct manner.
	Lynn Monger Club Secretary The Club Secretary handles all general club correspondence and takes and publishes minutes of Committee meetings and the AGM.
	Nick Collins Club Treasurer The Club Treasurer oversees all financial aspects of the club, banking money, paying bills and maintaining the accounts.
	VACANY (being handled by club chairperson at present) Welfare Officer The Club Welfare Officer acts as a source of advice on safeguarding and protecting children, promoting good practice and co-ordinating and reporting any issues or concerns raised and ensuring advice from Canoe England is subsequently followed.
	Elizabeth Collins Youth Representative A voice for our young paddlers!
	Arthur Jones Base Manager The Base manger is responsible for the facilities at the centre ensuring they are the best they can be.
	Mark Monger Trips & Events Officer The Trips and Events Officer is responsible for organising the clubs trips and events throughout the year.
	Mick Monger Senior Coach / Coach Organiser The senior coach is repsonsible for reprenting the clubs many coaches at committee meetings.
	Steve Burrows Youth and Community Co-Ordinator Responsible for developing youth inclusion at the centre ensuring that we continue to offer services to the local community
	John Stoner South Leicestershrie District Scouts Representative Responsible for Break Out Canoe Club, South Leicestershire Scout's affiliated club which use our facilities.
